…and longer evenings to snuggle by the fire, leave to collect, apples to be picked, pies to be bakes…tamales to be made! And who can forget the famous Grandpa Manuel “Thunderbird” turkey to be stuffed and once again laugh at his first expression of thanksgiving for a new country, a new hope and new way of life

I echo my brother’s sentiments. Makes me want to put on my coat and drink apple cider.
And on a naughtier note, good thing you’re looking forward to bottles of champagne and wine being opened, ’cause Thanksgiving with the Heffernans involves lots of that.
